| L'Oréal Australia welcomes you to our world of beauty.
Based in Melbourne, Victoria, we are a subsidiary of L'Oréal headquartered in Paris, France.
Present in Australia since 1934, our rapid expansion has been fuelled by the L'Oréal Group's winning formula - consistent growth of our existing brands and strategic acquisitions.
Our people
Over 525 permanent people are employed at L'Oréal Australia in Corporate Shared Services and three products divisions: Consumer Products (mass market), Luxury Products, (department stores) and Professional Products (hairdressing salons).
Our business
L'Oréal develops and manufactures hair care, hair colour, skincare, colour cosmetics and fragrances - we do not manufacture in Australia. L'Oréal products are available in all retail distribution channels including supermarkets and department stores, pharmacies and hairdressing salons.
Business growth is achieved by expanding our diverse brand portfolio to address the needs of Australia's diversity, from the young to our ageing population, and everyone in between.
Our community
Launched in 2007, the L'Oréal Australia For Women in Science Fellowships recognise and reward early-career women scientists and their research. Valued at AU$20,000 each, the Fellowships are supported by the Australian National Commission for UNESCO and endorsed by the Australian Academy of Science.
A dedicated supporter of the cosmetic industry's charity, Look Good, Feel Better and its invaluable work helping women, men and teens undergoing treatment for cancer, our employees volunteer for the LGFB workshops and the company donates products for patients to use in the sessions.
Our industry
L'Oréal Australia is an active member of the cosmetics industry and belongs to organisations including the cosmetic industry association, ACCORD (now incorporating the Cosmetics, Toiletries and Fragrances Association of Australia, CTFAA) and the French Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FACCI).
Graduate programme
Seeking to develop our future leaders, L’Oreal Australia offers graduates an exciting 12 month opportunity in Marketing, Sales, Finance and Logistics.
