As Vice President, my vision is to foster a sense of community amongst students and members. This means delivering value for students and dramatically increasing ComSoc's presence on campus.

Whether it be social, sport or careers, only with a student first mentality can we deliver a more fruitful university experience.

Armed with these aims and the right mentality, I firmly believe ComSoc 2010 can become the premier society on campus.

Treasurer

Leith Salem (B Com/LLB III)

In the role of treasurer, my aim is to ensure the efficient and effective financial management of the society. My aim is to ensure the society maximizes benefits for its members and for its sponsors.

A key vision I have for ComSoc is 2010 is to develop the global relevance of the society, and to highlight the global and dynamic nature of Economics and Business. I hope to achieve this by allocating funds to highlighting opportunities beyond Australia for our members.

I will ensure that funds are appropriately allocated to an appropriate mix of careers, social and sporting events. I am a firm believer in the idea that the most successful student is not one who has a HD average, but one who has a HD average across all aspects of life. This is a key message I want to entrench and bring to ComSoc in 2010.
